New Year Goals are Important !

This seems to be old school but still, I value New year's resolutions as very impressive and lucrative one to kick-start the new year!

Last year I made several resolutions.

12 books in 12 months

6 Technical Certifications

and more.

These goals seem to be very ambitious for me, as I am someone who only did 2 technical certifications, and read only one novel in the previous year (2021). But still, I committed to this Goal and started working hard for it. The first few months are quite interesting for me, as always it is. I completed 4 books in the first 5 months. Later I lost the zeal and started making slow progress.

I committed to doing 6 Technical certifications and I manage to complete 4 certifications to date.

I consider this a success. Furthermore, I consider Goal failures are not actually real failures. These goals made me walk at least halfway through, comparing anyone who was sitting idle because they don't have goals to chase and timelines to retrospect.

Comparing 2021, My book reading increased by 300 percent and the certification count increased by 200 percent. Though I have not reached the goal, Life seems to move in a progressive way. It's always proud to look back if you have done something well !!

For example, You plan to get up at 6 o clock in the new year. Let's assume, You follow that for 2 months and fail after that. I consider this a success. Because In the process of failure, you made 2 months of progress. Something is better than nothing, and that's how we grow in an agile fashion.

So, let's write out the goals for 2023.
